General:

(a) All golfing visitors must provide their names and addresses to the Professional, pay the appropriate Green Fees and obtain a ticket before starting play.
(b) Members must ensure that all social visitors sign the Visitors Book situated on the table in the Entrance Hall.
(c) The Green Fee Ticket must be clearly visible and attached to the golfers bag.
(d) Dress must comply with Members' standard rules (click here for dress rules)
(e) Visitors not playing with a member or a visiting society must produce a current handicap certificate from a recognized golf club or other approved organisation.
(f) Visitors note that the standard of play and dress must comply with these Bye-Laws and if such standards are not observed, the visitor may be requested to leave the Course.



Playing Restrictions:

(a) Except when playing with a member, or by prior agreement with the Secretary/Manager, visitors may NOT begin play as follows:

  • British Summer Time Weekdays: Before 9 am or between 12.30 and 2 pm. After 4 pm when competitions are being played. The Directors may vary these times according to prevailing circumstances.
  • British Summer Time Weekends and Bank Holidays: Before 9 am or between 12.30 and 2 pm. Before 5 pm when competitions are played.
  • British Standard Time Weekdays: Before 9 am or between 12.00 noon and 1 pm.
  • British Standard Time Weekends and Bank Holidays: No play allowed unless specifically agreed by the Directors

(b) Guests Playing with a Member: Members should note that the standard of play and dress of their guests must comply with these Bye-Laws and, if such standards are not adhered to, the visitor may be requested to leave the Course. All members who introduce guests to the Course must write the names and addresses of the guests in the book provided for that purpose in the Pro Shop. The concessionary rate applies only to guests playing with a Member. A member may introduce three guests daily. A guest may not play more than 8 times in any one calendar year at the concessionary rate.
(c) County Card Scheme: The Derbyshire Union of Golf Clubs, have joined with many other County Unions to supply a County Card to their Members. Card Holders may play one weekday per annum at half the green fee charged for a round or a day, subject to prior agreement with the Secretary/Manager and production of the membership card. Similar arrangements are in place at all participating clubs.
